This project involved the refurbishment of a characterful Cotswold cottage, combining sensitive conservation with modern upgrades. From the outset, one of our key tasks was to identify and protect the many existing features and fittings that were to be retained. Only once these were carefully safeguarded could we begin the structural repairs, service upgrades and finishing works.
Scope of Works:
- Traditional carpentry repairs to existing roof structures
- Reconfiguration of mechanical and electrical services
- Stonework repairs and repointing using lime mortar
- Renovation of principal rooms within the house
- High-quality internal finishes, including plastering, tiling and decorations
The result is a carefully restored cottage that retains its original charm while benefitting from robust structural repairs, improved services and refined finishes designed to stand the test of time.
